The Ark Christian School is a welcoming second home for our students where they know they are secure, respected and important, both as individuals and as part of the school community.
All Ages
As a British school for children from 3-18 years old we teach the British National Curriculum leading to IGCSE and A Level examinations which provide access to employment, further training and university in the UK, in Spain and many other countries worldwide.
Christian Values
As a Christian school the children’s whole school experience, both inside and outside the classroom, is permeated with Christian values such as respect, equality, compassion, thankfulness, justice and forgiveness. While the ethos of the school is Christian, our doors are open to all children.
Non Profit
As an institution with chaitable status the pupil is more important than profit. The school has to balance its books while maintaining, and constantly improving, the high level of education provided, however, its fees are the lowest for a school of its kind on the coast.
Our Ethos
The school ethos is based on Christian principles and endeavours to help each child learn to respect themselves and others. With this in mind, we believe in working with parents to give each child the opportunities they need to achieve their full potential.

We follow the principles of a constructivist approach to learning, believing that children are capable of self guided exploration, reflection and evaluation. Learning is active and collaborative between teachers and students. Children build knowledge from within, through exploration of the environment around them. We seek to ignite a child’s curiosity and a love of learning that will stay with them a lifetime.
Curriculum
Early Years 3-4 years old
- Personal, social and emotional development.
- Comunication and language.
- Phisical development.
Primary 5-11 years old
The children’s individual talents are developed, their enthusiasms are ignited and any difficulties are addressed.
Secondary 12-16 years old
In Secondary (Key Stages 3 & 4) our students receive a rich and varied diet in Years 7, 8 and 9
Sixth Form 17-18 years old
Our senior students are fully supported individually by our well qualified, experienced staff.
