Early Years
Foundation Stage (3-4 years)
We follow the principles of a constructivist approach to learning, believing that children are capable of self guided exploration, reflection and evaluation. Learning is active and collaborative between teachers and students. Children build knowledge from within, through exploration of the environment around them. We seek to ignite a child’s curiosity and a love of learning that will stay with them a lifetime. Through a carefully planned curriculum that allows children to explore the multiple themes and curriculum areas within a topic, they are empowered to investigate and explore.
An International School
As an international school following the British National Curriculum we follow the EYFS statutory guidance. We place great emphasis on the Characteristics of Effective Learning. The Unique Child reaches out to relate to people and things through the Characteristics of Effective Learning, which move through all areas of learning.
