The school staff will testify that working at the Ark Christian School is a rewarding, fulfilling experience. It is a special place with a calm, purposeful atmosphere where the teachers from across the school meet together every morning and work as a whole school team whatever section they work in. The Headteacher and her primary and secondary coordinators are an integral part of that team with their own teaching commitments. They are a visible presence around the school during the day.

There is limited staff turnover but any vacancies that do arise will be listed below. We look for teachers who can meet the following criteria for appointment:

We are looking for a warm and committed Early Years Teacher to lead our Pre-Reception class from January 2027, delivering the EYFS curriculum in a safe, nurturing environment where every child can flourish.

Requirements

  • QTS, EYTS, PGCE or equivalent in Early Years or Primary Education
  • Experience teaching EYFS, ideally in a British or international school
  • A caring, creative and patient approach

Cover Teacher: Geography & History (KS3 & KS4)

Temporary, 8 weeks · Start: 1st December 2026 · Full-time · Fuengirola

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable teacher of Geography and History to join our Humanities department for an 8-week cover placement, starting 1st December.

You will teach Geography and History across Key Stages 3 and 4. Schemes of work, lesson resources and assessment materials are already in place, so you can focus on delivering engaging lessons and keeping students on track.

 

Requirements

  • QTS, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Geography and/or History at secondary level, ideally the English National Curriculum
  • Confident classroom management and a flexible, reliable approach
  • Availability to start on 1st December
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child wellbeing
